A CHINESE QINGBAI CARVED CONICAL BOWL
SONG DYNASTY
The body decorated with a pale blue-green glaze and incised to the interior with a stylised peony flowerhead and foliage, the scalloped rim mounted in silver, all raised on a short tapered foot, 20.2cm.
Provenance: a Spanish private collection, Madrid, purchased from J J Lally & Co. on 23rd June 1990. A copy of the original invoice is available.
