A CHINESE LACQUER 'EIGHT LUOHANS' TABLE SCREEN
LATE QING DYANSTY
Inlaid with semi precious stones, ivory and mother of pearl with figures of the eight hermits in a rocky landscape against a black lacquer ground with gilt clouds, the reverse with a landscape painted with gilt against a black lacquer ground, with a wooden frame carved with a key fret border, all set in a wood stand carved with archaistic scrollwork, 77.5cm x 47.5cm.
