A Chinese painting, oil on canvas, signed Chen Yan Ning, framed, with a paper label on the back for the Hefner Galleries, Inc., 101cm x 75cm.
Provenance: exhibited at the Hefner Galleries, Inc. New York. This is one of the three paintings Dame Anita purchased straight after the exhibition.
Purchased by Dame Anita Roddick (1942-2007) for
13,000 on 7th of March 1989, together with a copy of the invoice.
Sold on behalf of the Roddick Charitable Foundation.
