A Chinese painting, oil on canvas, signed Chen Yan Ning, framed, the paper label on the back is from the Hefner Galleries, Inc., 75cm x 99cm.
Provenance: exhibited at the Hefner Galleries, Inc. New York. This is one of the three paintings Dame Anita purchased straight after the exhibition.
Purchased by Dame Anita Roddick (1942-2007) for
14,000 on 2nd March 1989, together with a copy of the invoice.
Sold on behalf of the Roddick Charitable Foundation.
