WATCHING THE WATERFALL AT THE LU MOUNTAIN
A Chinese scroll painting, ink on silk, 113cm x 59cm.
Provenance: from an English private collection, acquired c.1990.
While the painting is untitled and unsigned, the principal figure may well be the Tang dynasty poet Li Bai, who wrote a poem about the famous waterfall at the Lu Mountain in Jiangxi Province.
