A JAPANESE WOOD NETSUKE

EDO 1603-1868

Depicting a tall South Sea Islander, the man clutching a mother of pearl fish against him and with a cheery expression on his face, his eyes inlaid in bone and horn, unsigned but attributed to Tomochika, 8cm.
