A JAPANESE MIXED METAL INCENSE BURNER, KORO
TAISHO/SHOWA PERIOD
The bulbous body with lion-head handles and decorated to one side with figures admiring cherry blossoms on hanami, to the other with two herons amongst prunus, wisteria and peony flowers, raised on three short curling feet, the lid with cloud-shaped apertures and with a chrysanthemum knop, the base marked Nagamine, 16.5cm.
