A JAPANESE TWO-FOLD PAPER SCREEN, BYOBU
EDO 1603-1868
Decorated in ink and colour on a gold ground with a large cart, hanaguruma, containing flowering branches of chrysanthemum, bush clover and irises, with some details in moriage (raised decoration), 168cm x 187cm.
Provenance: from the collection of Holcombe House, Painswick, Cotswolds.
