FOUR JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINTS, UKIYO-E
MEIJI 1868-1912
Three by Utagawa Kunisada, two depicting actors from the series Kunizukushi Yamato meiyo (The Glories of the Provinces of Japan), and the third a figure drinking sake in an interior, the fourth print depicting a beauty reading a book, all framed and glazed, 36cm x 24cm. (4)
Provenance: the George and Ann Dannatt Collection. George Dannatt (d.2009) was a British artist noted for his abstract work.
