A JAPANESE SATSUMA VASE BY KINKOZAN
MEIJI 1868-1912
The ovoid body densely decorated with a central shaped band enclosing a continuous scene of many figures taking a stroll under cherry blossoms, the foot and shoulder with a multitude of small leafy stems in gilt on a dark navy-blue ground, the neck with shaped panels of brocade designs and a band of key fret, with a four character mark in gilt reading Kinkozan zo and another impressed one, 24cm.
