A RARE JAPANESE KAKIEMON FIGURAL GROUP
C.1690
Depicting a beauty and a small child standing on a tall fan-shaped base, their robes decorated in iron-red, blue, green and black enamels with geometrical patterns, waves, stylised clouds and cash, the base with prunus flowers, spirals and karakusa scrolls, 18cm.
Provenance: purchased in Paris in 2009.
