A CHINESE CELADON TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER
MING DYNASTY
The cylindrical body incised with geometric designs enclosing scrolling clouds, with a band of waves to the rim, all raised on three short feet, together with a wood stand and a reticulated cover mounted with a white jade plaque, 39.5cm. (3)
Provenance: a Hong Kong private collection, previously in the Everit Macy collection, purchased from Freeman's Philadelphia, 16th September 2008, lot 485.
