A CHINESE STONE HEAD OF BUDDHA
TANG DYNASTY OR LATER
Carved in grey stone, with elongated earlobes and the hair in tight curls, the eyes downcast and face with a serene expression, all raised on a modern stand, 12.5cm.
Provenance: a Hong Kong private collection, purchased from Gorringe's 13th-15th June 2006, lot 727.
