A TIBETAN BRONZE FIGURE OF MANJUSRI
PROBABLY QING DYNASTY
Seated in dhyanasana wearing elaborate jewellery and a tall headdress over a tall chignon, with a floral spray and celestial ribbons to his shoulders, wielding a sword with his right hand, all raised on a double lotus throne, 16cm.
Provenance: purchased at Calarte- Lima, Peru 21st-29th August 1980, lot 71.
