A Japanese dagger (tanto), blade 11 in., hira-zukuri with suguha hamon, nakagao with two ana, mumei, niju-habaki, iron tsuba with relief decoration of a turbulent sea with pagoda to the foreground, associated tsuka lacking kashira, housed in a saya sized for a wakizashi.
