A Japanese naval officer's sword (kai-gun-to), Showa era blade 26 in., midare hamon, nakagao with signature (Kanemoto) and dated 1942 (Koki ni ju roku Haiku ni n-en), and stamped with Seki control mark; regulation naval mountings with plain tsuba between large seppa with radiant sun motifs.
