λ A Persian short sword (qama), broad double-edged blade 18 in., shallow medial ridge with twin fullers within panels, struck to each side with the maker's mark 'Amal Asad Allah' (made by Asad Allah); marine ivory hilt with with pointed arched terminal, two roundels encrusted with bead and wirework and each set with a coral cabochon.
