A British 1845 pattern infantry officer' s sword, etched blade 3.5in, regulation gilt brass 'gothic' hilt, lacks scabbard; together with an Imperial German artillery officer's sword, blade 31.75in., stirrup hilt with lion head pommel and crossed cannon embossed on the langets, steel scabbard. [2]
