A 12 bore side by side box lock ejector, serial no 6438, 26 in. nitro re-proofed barrels, hollow top rib engraved 'ALEX MARTIN. EXCHANGE SQUARE. GLASGOW. & AT ABERDEEN & EDINBURGH', 2 1/2 in. chambers, choked cylinder and three quarter, automatic safety, well engraved action with scalloped back, signed 'ALEX MARTIN' to a scroll, 15in. chequered semi-pistol grip stock. weight approximately 6 1/2 lb; in a fitted leather and canvas covered case with brass corners, Alex Martin trade label (case appears original to the gun).
