‡Dame Lucie Rie DBE (1902-1995)
a porcelain bottle vase, swollen form with narrow cylindrical neck and flaring rim, the rim and shoulder decorated with two bands of sgraffito etched lines on a matt blue glaze, the neck and body covered in a bronze glaze to the foot, impressed seal mark to base, 22cm. high
