A George III mahogany knife box, inlaid with feather stringing, the sloping lid marquetry inlaid with a conch shell, to the underside with a parquetry star, the later interior with thirty-seven apertures, the front with a silver shield escutcheon, 38.3cm high, 22.5cm wide, 27.2cm deep.
