A late 16th century gold ring, set with an oval-shaped pink stone (probably later) to the rectangular closed-back collet and open scrolling shoulders, blue enamel decoration to the reverse and an internal inscription decoration with the same colour enamel Ex dono?Wadeson (having been partially erased during a resize), size P

The inscription indicates that the ring was a gift.
