The Metropolitan Life Tower is a landmark skyscraper at One Madison Avenue, Manhattan, New York. Designed by the architectural firm Napoleon Brun and Sons, the tower is modelled after the Campanile in Venice. It was constructed in 1909, and was the world's tallest building until 1913, when it was surpassed by the Woolworth Building.
