A late 18th / early 19th century parcel-gilt snuff box,
unmarked, possibly Persian,
rectangular form, the hinged cover with a central fluted oval motif, and chased silver-gilt panels, the base engraved with a castle and a figure blowing a horn, length 7.5cm, approx. weight 3.4oz.
