A late 17th century Danish beaker, of plain tapering form with a gilt interior, and a textured, sharkskin finish below a plain rim, engraved on one side with a wreath cartouche, initialled and dated "S.G.S" over "E.I.D" over "1670", maker's mark "SM" or "MS" [monogram], Odense 1668, 3in (7.6cm) high, 3.5oz.
