Two curious cast candlesticks, on shaped bases with short columns, decorated with oval portrait medallions, the lower capitals with stiff leaf decoration, detachable nozzles, one by William Elliott, London 1819; the other by Edward Farrell, London 1840 (also struck with Elliott's mark), 6.6in (17cm) high, 31oz.
