Description

A 19th century French, gold and silver mounted hardstone etui, slightly tapering on four small dragon feet with two bifurcated scroll handles each capped by a ho ho bird, the cover with a diamond set thumbpress and a cast parcel gilt finial in the form of a putto kneeling astride a globe, by Jules Wiese, c.1870, 5.1in (13cm) high.
