Description
A George III Cornish oak longcase clock by Benjamin Andrews of St. Austell, with a thirty hour birdcage movement striking on a bell, the eleven inch brass dial with a silvered chapter ring and centre, with Roman and Arabic numerals, with a date aperture and engraved with a naive coastal scene with buildings, clouds and a tree, signed 'Benjn Andrews St AUSTLE', with gilt Rococo spandrels, in a plain case, 210cm high, together with Cornish Clocks and Clockmakers by H. Miles Brown. (2)
