λ An early Victorian rosewood and brass mounted apothecary's box, the hinged lid with a vacant plaque, revealing a divided interior, fitted with various glass jars and stoppers and a glass stand, with a base drawer fitted with further bottles, a pair of metal lidded compartments and of divided compartments with sliding cover, fitted with a mortar and pestle and other items, with sunken brass military style handles, 23.5cm high, 26.7cm wide, 19.5cm deep.
