λ An early 19th century tortoiseshell tea caddy, of octagonal bombe shape, inlaid with pewter stringing, the hinged lid with a ball handle revealing a twin lidded interior with ivory edging, with a silver escutcheon and on ball feet, 17cm high, 18cm wide.
