An early Victorian ebony writing slope in the manner of John Turrill, inlaid with mother of pearl, brass and abalone, with an urn of flowers with leaf scroll corners, the hinged lid revealing a tooled velvet writing surface, with a pair of plated and glass travelling inkwells, a pen tray and two lidded compartments, with a satinwood veneered interior with three secret drawers behind a sprung panel, 10.5cm high, 38cm wide, 25.4cm deep.
