An Edwardian matched silver Hanoverian / Rat-tail pattern canteen for twelve,

the majority by Elkington and Co, London 1909,

three pronged forks, the reverse of the bowls with plain rat-tails, comprising twenty-four table forks, (four matching different dates and makers), twenty-four table knives, twelve dessert forks, (three matching different dates and makers), twelve dessert knives, (one matched), twelve tablespoons, (two matching different dates and makers), eighteen dessert spoons, (six matching), five egg spoons, (one matched), eleven teaspoons, a basting spoon, a pair of sauce ladles, a five-piece carving set, a mustard spoon, a pair of salt spoons, in a fitted wooden case, the cover applied with a silver plaque and inscribed 'Presented to H. Vane Esq. by the Members of The Lake Club, Kuala Lumpur, in recognition of his services as Honorary Secretary during the years 1904 to 1909', approx. weighable 162oz.
