A pair of George III silver salt cellars,

by Thomas Wallis, London 1802,

oval bat-wing form, wire-work frame, on four fluted bracket feet, the glass liners with reverse painted scenes of galleons, plus a pair of George III Fiddle and Thread pattern salt shovels, by Eley and Fearn, London 1813, approx. weight 3.4oz. (4)

Provenance: From the Collection of Sir Framjee Dinshaw Maneckji Petit, 3rd Baronet (1901-1983) and Lady Sylla Dinshaw Petit (nee Tata), and then by descent to the current owner.
