An Edwardian Scottish silver-mounted wooden piggin,
by Young & Tatton, retailed by Mackay and Chishlom, Edinburgh 1906,
tapering circular form, alternate coloured wooden stave construction, the handle mounted with an engraved silver thistle, the front with a shield cartouche and wit silver banding, height 20.5cm.
