A George III silver beer jug,
the maker is probably Ambrose Boxwell, Dublin 1774,
baluster form, leaf capped scroll handle, engraved with a crest, on a raised circular foot with a gadroon border, height 22.3cm, approx. weight 23oz.
The crest is possibly that of Carter.
