rectangular form, the hinged cover engraved with Demeter and Dionysus on a prick-dot background and initialled M, the interior fitted with a hinged silver-gilt grille pierced with musical instruments, sheet music and foliate scrolls, length 3.7cm, approx. weight 0.7oz.
