A George III Scottish provincial silver vinaigrette,
by John Scott, Perth, circa 1810,
rectangular form, the hinged cover with a raised foliate border, engraved foliate decoration and a rectangular cartouche initialled MH, the interior fitted with a hinged silver-gilt pierced grille, engraved with a basket of flowers, length 3cm, approx. weight 0.5oz.
