A Victorian silver-gilt mounted overlay scent bottle/vinaigrette,
by Abraham Brownett, London 1867,
circular form, clear glass body, with pierced foliate scroll overlay, the hinged cover with engraved decoration and a concealed photograph frame, the body and cover inset with turquoise and pearl cabochons, the front engraved 'Lally' and opens to reveal a foliate pierced silver-gilt grille and engraved 'Registered P & F Schafer, 27 Piccadilly, 21st Aug 1866', the reverse with a hinged compartment and engraved 'Xmas 1916', length 7.4cm.
