Description
A Russian silver-gilt and enamel swing-handled basket and sugar tongs,
by Ivan Saltykov, Moscow 1890, assay master A.P, also marked with a French import mark,
circular form, with vari-coloured enamel decoration on a matted background with rope-work borders, the swing handle and tongs with similar enamel decoration, the underside with a monogram and inscribed '23, IV, 1891', diameter 11cm, approx. weight 8oz. (2)
