Description
A late 17th century Ottoman provincial / Serbian silver hanging liturgical lamp,
unmarked,
tapering circular form, pierced engraved decoration with Christ on the Cross. a Saint on horseback and other Saints, foliate scroll borders, the pierced base with a pierced hanging apron, with three supporting chains each with a pendant of a Saint, with a fluted terminal and ring attachment, length 12.8cm, approx. weight 9oz.
