Description

A George II silver tankard,
by Thomas Whipham and Charles Wright, London 1759,
tapering baluster form, later embossed foliage scroll decoration, the front with a crest, on a raised circular foot, height 21cm, approx. weight 28oz.
The crest is that of Dawson (as used by Dawson of Launde Abbey, Leicestershire).
