A SMALL COLLECTION OF JAPANESE MINIATURE PIECES
MEIJI 1868-1912
Including: three netsuke, one in pottery depicting Daruma with a two character mark underneath; another a manju netsuke in guri lacquer decorated with scrolls; the third in wood and lacquer and depicting a man with his face deep in a sake cup; together with three ojime, one in wood depicting many rakan and with a two character signature, another in red lacquer with a tori kabuto and a sho; the third in mixed metal with flowers and a butterfly, also signed, and with a small menuki shaped as a cat, 4.2cm max.
