A JAPANESE BLACK LACQUER HAND-WARMER, HIBACHI
EDO/MEIJI PERIOD
The square body raised on four short cabriole legs, decorated with red and gold chrysanthemum and leafy tendrils, with metal mounts to the corners etched with further patterns of scrolling leaves, the copper liner encased in the centre, 45cm x 45cm x 21.5cm. (2)
