A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE TUREENS AND COVERS
1ST HALF 19TH CENTURY
The interior of each decorated in enamels and gilt with butterflies and other insects amongst various blossoms and fruits, surrounded by floral designs set against a ground of finely painted swirls, with peony sprays to the exteriors, the covers similarly decorated and surmounted by a gilt finial shaped as a lychee, 27.3cm.
