AN UNUSUAL CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE ARCHAISTIC ALTAR VASE
KANGXI 1662-1722
The lower section formed as a stylised phoenix, seated with its wings tucked at its sides, the tall cylindrical neck rising from the mythical bird's back and flaring towards the rim, the base with a paper label for the De Vermes Collection, together with a wood stand, 17.5cm. (2)
