A CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE FIGURE OF GUANYIN AND A LION DOG
20TH CENTURY
She sits in lalitasana on the lion dog's back holding a ruyi-sceptre shaped as lingzhi in her hands, the creature gazing upwards with its mouth agape, the underside with a signature, 16.8cm.
Provenance: from an English private collection, Kent, acquired prior to 1950.
