A continental mother of pearl mounted, dual compartment snuff box, with a hinged cover and base, shaped thumbpieces and reeded borders, engraved all over with various flowers on an engine-turned ground, unmarked, probably French last quarter of the 18th century, 2.75in (7cm) wide.
