A LARGE CHINESE POWDER BLUE-GROUND TEA CANISTER AND COVER
C.1800
The cylindrical body painted in gilt with a continuous scene of figures and houses by a river, with mountains and a flock of flying birds in the distance, the shoulder with a band of ruyi-heads, flowers and shaped panels enclosing further landscape scenes, with similar decoration to the cover, 40.5cm.
