A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE BOULDER
QING DYNASTY OR LATER
Carved in high relief with two Immortals standing by a cliff face, overlooking a river and surrounded by pagodas, pine trees and rockwork, the reverse with a sage seated on an outcrop fanning the smoke of his hearth, an attendant climbs up some steps towards him, raised on a reticulated wood stand, 16cm. (2)
Provenance: from a Hong Kong private collection, sold in these rooms on 21st May 2008, lot 287.
