TWO CHINESE JADE LIBATION CUPS
MING AND QING DYNASTY
The handle of the larger cup formed as a mythical beast, with a further creature to the rim, the pale stone with white mottling and black-brown inclusions, the smaller cup incised and carved in relief with dragons and archaistic swirls, the angular handle suspending a ring, the stone a pale celadon colour with russet inclusions, 13cm.
